About

I am a professional marketing and business development consultant with over 20 years experience of working for small business, 10 years in senior marketing and business development roles.

I hold a professional diploma in marketing and digital marketing and also has a bachelor of honours degree in Design.

From an early age I  always loved making things and solving problems. At school I excelled in creative subjects and wanted to be an architect. By 22 I had graduated in design and was working a for a leading design consultancy.

From there, I built a successful career as a designer where I created many innovative award winning products and led accounts for clients which included Tom Tom, Samsonite and Procter and Gamble.

Over the course of the next 10 years I moved into more senior account management roles where I thrived on developing deep working relationships with my clients that led to sustaining many successful long-term client relationships.

It was during this time, of working closely with my business owners that I realised very early on, how easy it is for small business owners to become overwhelmed and confused by marketing, as they struggled to not only keep current clients but also find new ones.

Bothered by what I was experiencing and my passion for building strong customer relationships. I oriented my career toward marketing by taking professional qualifications in marketing and digital marketing and gaining valuable marketing experience working for various small B2B businesses including 2 years within advertising where I managed several corporate client accounts working through the line across FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals and professional services.

Today many of the small business owners I talk to are experiencing the same challenges, confusion and misconceptions about marketing. I work with them to dispel the myth marketing is simply sales and advertising by helping them to build a marketing system that generates more qualified leads, more customers and deepens their customer relationships.
